Our 12mm expansion cork is a natural wonder that moves and breathes with your timber. Unlike silicone, which can pull away or look a bit messy over time, cork strips can be sanded and coated right along with your floor. This gives you a professional, perfectly flush finish that looks a million bucks.
It’s pretty straightforward. The strips are glued into the gap around the perimeter or between different floor surfaces. Once the glue is dry, the cork is sanded down to be perfectly level with your timber, and then the final floor sealer is applied. Easy as!
Absolutely! It’s often used in structural expansion joints for concrete and brickwork. Why? Because it’s rot-resistant and won’t break down even when it’s compressed for long periods. A real workhorse!
