Polycure 3540 is a fast-drying sealer used as the very first coat on timber and cork floors. It helps fill the natural grain of the wood and any tiny gaps. This creates a smooth, solid base so your final topcoats look much better and more professional.
Using this sealer stops your expensive glossy topcoats from soaking too deep into the wood. By sealing the floor first, you get a more even finish and a much better shine. It also makes it a lot easier to sand the floor between coats, saving you time and effort.
This product is loved by Aussie tradies because it dries very quickly. In normal conditions, it is usually ready to sand and recoat in about 45 to 60 minutes. This means you can get your sealing and first topcoat done on the same day, helping you finish the job faster.
