Our Haymes Dexpress deck and timber stain is a real game-changer. It’s a quick-drying, water-based acrylic that lasts up to three times longer than those old-school decking oils. It gives you a super durable, UV-resistant film that’s a breeze to maintain over time.
While some products might let you get away with it, Haymes Dexpress works best on dry timber (we’re talking below 15% moisture). This makes sure the acrylic bond is super strong and stops any moisture from getting trapped underneath, which can cause dramas later on.
For a brand-new timber deck, we recommend two full coats. The first coat really soaks into the grain, and the second coat gives you that perfect colour and a tough, protective weather-shield.
