Sikabond-T55 (J) is an elastic timber flooring adhesive suitable for bonding parquetry and strip floor panels to concrete or timber floors (both new or existing), or as an underlay prior to timber flooring.

What can I use Sika T55J for?
Sika T55J is used to bond solid and engineered timber floors. It can be applied over suitable concrete or timber subfloors once the surface has been prepared correctly.
No. It’s a one-part adhesive that cures when exposed to moisture in the air, so there are no separate parts to measure or mix.
The floor can normally be walked on after about 12 hours and sanded after about 24 hours. Temperature, humidity and the subfloor may change these times, so check the Sika instructions before starting.
