Yeah, it’s got a great consistency. It’s not too thick and not too runny, so it spreads like a dream with a notched trowel. Because it comes in a 16kg drum, it’s the perfect size for those bigger timber flooring jobs where you need to get a lot of glue down quickly.
Not at all. The Floorbond XMS is low-VOC, meaning it doesn’t have those harsh chemical smells that give you a headache. It’s much better for you and the homeowners, especially if they are staying in the house while you work.
It’s excellent for that. It stays slightly flexible even after it cures, which allows the timber to move naturally without the bond breaking. It’s got a “high tack” finish, so once you lay that board down, it stays exactly where you put it.
