Nah, our cork rolls aren’t designed for walking all over. They’re perfect for acoustic underlay or for wall applications, like creating a handy pinboard. For actual flooring, you’ll want to check out our Standard Cork Tiles – they’re built for foot traffic.
What is the best adhesive for sticking cork rolls to a wall?
For a really solid, permanent bond, we recommend using a high-quality contact adhesive (you’ll need to apply it to both the wall and the cork) or a specialised cork adhesive like Wakol. This stops the edges from curling up over time, keeping everything neat and tidy.
How do I cut cork rolls without tearing them?
The trick is to always use a super sharp utility knife and a metal straight edge. Instead of trying to cut through the whole 6mm thickness in one go, it’s much better to make 2 or 3 light passes with the blade. You’ll get a much cleaner cut that way.
